This text discusses the collected works "Information and the Nature of Reality," published by Cambridge International University Press in 2011 (third edition). Informace a „realita“ [2012]
Nadnárodní Cambridgeské universitní nakladatelství vydalo vloni (2011) už v třetím vydání sborník prací o Informaci a povaze reality (Information and the Nature of Reality; první vydání vyšlo 2010). Významní vědci, filosofové i theologové z řady zemí věnovali své příspěvky památce Arthura R. Peacocka, který byl sám také zároveň vědcem, filosofujícím theologem a – možno-li tak říci – i církevním funkcionářem (a který se sám označoval za panentheistu). Už tato velmi stručná informace sama dokáže jistě odradit celou řadu odborníků, ale na druhé straně opakovaná vydání svědčí naopak o vzrůstajícím zájmu, a to nejen laiků, o texty, které rozhodně nelze charakterizovat jako pouhou popularizaci či dokonce o pokleslé vyhovování jinak nepochybným tendencím nejrůznějších nových iracionalismů.
