This text explores the philosophical distinction between a word and a concept. While a word functions as a mere designation or name whose meaning must be known beforehand, a concept brings an intentionally created model into the present. The author examines the nature of conceptuality as a realm of relations and contexts that individuals enter, often unconsciously yet actively. A central question concerns the ontological status of the concept. Concepts possess their own reality, which is not fully reducible to subjective mental acts, even though thought is guided by them. The text further analyzes the relationship between conceptual intention and its target. It questions whether a concept can be considered an intentional object or if it is instead a type of non-object. In relation to the concept, the word thus becomes a designation for something that lacks a standard objective nature. The reflection aims at a deeper understanding of how conceptual structures shape human thought and what role intentionality and tradition play in this process.

Slovo a pojem
