This text analyzes the relationship between Karl Jaspers' concept of "the Encompassing" (das Umgreifende) and the author's own concept of "true being." The author interprets "the Encompassing" not merely as a horizon of thought or transcendence, but as an active principle involved in the constitution of concrete beings and their separation from others. Central to the discussion is the phenomenon of "splitting" (Spaltung), viewed in two dimensions: the separation of individual beings from one another and as a prerequisite for their subsequent integration. The text emphasizes that every true being must be a whole whose wholeness is grounded and guaranteed by an internal integrity. The author critically notes that the idea of "the Encompassing" may not sufficiently explain the internal unity of a being, as one can only encompass something that already possesses its own unity, whether original or derived. The reflection thus moves toward a deeper understanding of the ontological foundations of individuality and wholeness within the philosophical reflection on being.

Rozštěpení (Spaltung) a celek
