The text explores the fundamental nature of happenings and movement in the surrounding world, contrasting the human tendency to prioritize stability with the omnipresence of change. Through the example of a frog's perception, which selectively identifies specific types of motion while ignoring static objects or mechanical repetitions, the author demonstrates how living beings distinguish between significant and insignificant stimuli. This biological observation serves as a foundation for a deeper philosophical distinction between inorganic movements and those that reveal the presence of life. The core argument introduces a critical differentiation between eventful and non-eventful happenings, characterizing the latter as mere processes. While an event carries inherent meaning and vitality, non-eventful processes often remain outside the focus of attention. This reflection encourages a reappraisal of human reality perception, which often clings to permanence, even though the essence of the world lies in the diversity and significance of occurrences that surround us and define our experience of reality.

Dění událostné (a neudálostné)
