The text explores the nature of philosophizing as an intellectual journey and examines the relationship between systematicity and the creation of formal systems. The author argues that while systematicity is a necessary norm for evaluating specific theories within their context, understanding a thinker requires an analysis of their intellectual evolution. Drawing on Zygmunt Bauman's typology, the text distinguishes between various approaches to the philosophical path. It highlights the figure of the pilgrim, whose journey is purposeful despite its twists and turns, and the vagabond, who lacks a fixed direction yet may still encounter depth. In contrast, the text strongly condemns the tourist archetype, representing a superficiality that should not be tolerated in philosophy or its popularization. This superficiality is viewed as highly detrimental, as it distorts the essence of philosophical inquiry. The objective of the text is to defend the authenticity and rigor of the thought process against the trends of intellectual tourism and the devaluation of scholarly discourse.
