This text explores the philosophical concept of rheology, challenging the conventional understanding of flow as the movement of an unchanging substrate. Drawing on the Heraclitean principle that everything flows, the author highlights an inherent contradiction in traditional views that assume only a stable entity can undergo the process of flowing. The text critically examines the notion of a "carrier" or "substrate" of flow and questions whether it is possible to conceive of flowing without a fixed underlying subject. To address this problem, the author proposes the hypostasis of the smallest units of happening, where the distinction between what flows and the flow itself loses its meaning. This reflection leads to a radical reappraisal of the ontology of motion and change, where flow is treated as a primary reality rather than a mere property of matter. Consequently, the work opens a path toward a deeper understanding of the dynamic nature of reality that functions without the need for static substrates.

Rheologie
