This text explores the ontological nature of the beginning of an event and the relationship between its emergence and the state that preceded it. The author hypothetically defines the start of an event as the realization of its first phase, which is not preceded by any other part of that specific event. If this stage prior to the start is interpreted as "nothingness," one must acknowledge a plurality of such "nothings," as every individual event has its own state of non-existence before it begins. The reflection further examines the common understanding of causality, where what precedes an event is viewed not as its own past, but as external influences and causes that triggered its onset. The text thus critically investigates the boundary between the being and non-being of an event in time, questioning the unity of the concept of nothingness within the context of processuality. This perspective allows for a deeper understanding of the temporal structure of reality, where every beginning is closely linked to preceding causal chains. By adding a concluding thought on the nature of time, the text emphasizes that an event is not just an isolated point but the result of a complex interplay between actuality and potentiality.
