This text explores the nature of philosophical discourse and the role of the philosopher as a mediator of truth. Using the metaphor of a "mask," the author illustrates that a true philosopher does not speak for themselves but provides their voice and pen to something that transcends them. Philosophy is not the personal property of the thinker; rather, it is an attempt to allow truth itself to speak. The author criticizes false critics who attempt to uncover the person behind the mask, thereby missing the essence of philosophical inquiry. Drawing on Socrates, the text emphasizes that the challenge lies not in opposing an individual, but in confronting the truth. The philosopher’s primary goal is to minimize their own subjectivity and present things as they truly are in the light of truth. Although subjective "fingerprints" are inevitable, they should not be interpreted in isolation as a private philosophy, but rather in relation to the truth they serve.
