This text explores the nature and fate of philosophemes within philosophical discourse. The author distinguishes between the initial discovery of a philosopheme, which is inherently linked to its linguistic expression, and the subsequent risk of this expression devolving into a cliché or empty phrase. A central problem addressed is whether a philosopheme retains its original identity after being spoken and throughout historical development, or if it is inevitably altered by its history. The text critiques the traditional approach that attempts to grasp the identity of a philosopheme as an objective entity—something externally accessible and definable. This objectification often leads to a confusion between the philosophical insight itself and its specific verbal formulation. The author suggests that one must repeatedly rediscover the original philosopheme beneath the layers of established formulas, thereby challenging static conceptions of truth and meaning in the history of philosophy. This reflection encourages a deeper understanding of the process through which thoughts enter the world and the way they are sustained or obscured over time.

Filosofémata a filosofie
