This text examines the relationship between atheism and theism through the lens of the philosophy of non-objectivity. The author argues that the understanding of both terms is entirely dependent on how god is defined. From the perspective of non-objective thought, any form of atheism that rejects a god possessing objective characteristics—such as power, eternity, or human-like emotions—is considered justified. Although the Bible is replete with such descriptions, the author warns against a fundamentalist interpretation, suggesting that the underlying significance of these passages can be grasped and articulated without relying on such problematic terminology. Conversely, theism is viewed as legitimate and sustainable only if it respects the pure non-objectivity of the divine. While acknowledging the historical and linguistic baggage associated with the word god, the text proposes a path toward a deeper understanding of faith and non-belief by deconstructing objective conceptions of transcendence. This approach fosters a dialogue that moves beyond superficial conflicts between believers and non-believers.

Atheismus a theismus / Theismus a atheismus
