The text examines the nature of thinking as a specific form of performance and activity. Every human performance is naturally directed toward its own realization and completion, constituting its internal integrity. However, thought-performances are characterized by a unique dual intentionality. The first type is directed toward the fulfillment of the act itself, while the second type points beyond the framework of the performance toward something that is not and will never be a part of it. This transcendence or crossing of the boundaries of the act itself raises questions about the nature of a specific intentionality that is not merely a transgression. The author highlights the inadequacy of current terminology, particularly the concept of transcendence, and emphasizes the need for a deeper understanding of the phenomenon where thinking, in its progression, refers to objects or realities lying outside its own limits. The reflection aims to analyze this particular relationship between the thought process and what is being thought, forming a basis for the philosophical investigation of the boundaries and extensions of human consciousness.
