This text examines the fundamental role of hermeneutics within philosophical inquiry and the interpretation of reality. The author argues that all philosophy is inherently hermeneutical, as it approaches existence as a complex "text" that demands understanding beyond mere surface-level facts or "letters." Drawing upon Odo Marquard’s paradox, the text emphasizes that the core task of hermeneutics is to uncover what is not explicitly stated yet constitutes the primary meaning. This interpretive capacity is identified as a basic feature of the human approach to the world, manifesting from early childhood. Furthermore, the author presents a critique of Anglo-Saxon empiricism and its atomistic methodology, which is faulted for reducing knowledge to isolated sensory data or impressions. The author contends that the true objective of understanding is not to focus on these artificial constructions but to reach the significance lying behind them. Ultimately, hermeneutics is presented as an essential framework for grasping the holistic truth of the world and human experience.

Hermeneutika
