This text offers a critical reflection on Karl Jaspers' concept of transcendence, specifically his linking of transcendence with the unrest arising from the transience of existence. The author disagrees with this view, arguing that the effort to marginalize temporality and change is actually an attempt to remain within immanence and preserve inertia. True transcendence is instead defined as an orientation toward the new and a trust in what arrives as change. The author proposes a new understanding of passing away or vanishing, not as passive decay, but as an active movement toward that which is coming. The temporal character of non-objectivity is understood differently from traditional concepts of reality, which are tied to the acquisition of objectivity. The distinction between true and false transcendence then depends precisely on this active relationship to incoming change. The text provides an original ontological perspective on the relationship between time, non-objectivity, and human existence, emphasizing the dynamic nature of being manifested in a constant openness to new possibilities and the overcoming of fixed forms.

Transcendování a pomíjení / Pomíjení a transcendování / Zánik a transcendování
Jaspers dává „transcendování“ do úzké souvislosti s nezrušitelným neklidem (možná by se dalo říci „závratí“) z pomíjení všeho „pobytu“ („die unaufhebbare Unruhe über das Vergehen allen Daseins“ – 3337, S. 40).
