This text explores the philosophical relationship between the concept of structure and the notion of a whole. The author argues that a structure must always be understood as the structure of something specific, whether it be an entity, a situation, or a set of beings. Focusing solely on structural patterns while neglecting the entity itself leads to unconscious selection and flawed conclusions. A central critique is directed at structuralism for its rejection of the subject. The author posits that without the concept of a subject, it is impossible to define or analyze contexts such as surroundings, environments, or situations. The text warns that attempting to describe a structure purely from an external viewpoint results in a loss of conscious control over what belongs to the structure. This methodological oversight is also noted in chaos theory and self-organization studies. Ultimately, the document emphasizes that structural analysis requires the active role of a subject to ensure its findings remain grounded in reality.

Struktura a „celek“
