The text examines Aristotle’s conception of physics as a theoretical discipline focused on entities characterized by movement and change. In contrast to mathematics, which deals with unchanging multiplicities, philosophical physics explores the nature of things that possess both unity and distinct boundaries. The study clarifies the relationship between multiplicity and the identity of individual beings, arguing that any changing entity must be delimited from others to exist as a unit. A central theme of the analysis is the concept of the event, defined as an organized process occurring between the extremes of birth and death. The event is presented as a unique and indivisible integrity. Any attempt to subdivide or fragment this unity results in the destruction of its essence and being. Thus, physics is interpreted as the study of the event-like nature of reality, where the integrity of the whole serves as the fundamental condition for the existence of things in flux. This perspective bridges ontological inquiry with the dynamic character of the world.
