This philosophical reflection examines the profound relationship between the creative act and temporality, with a particular focus on the role of the future. The author argues that creation is not merely a mechanical process occurring in the present, but an active engagement with that which is yet to come. While a creative act requires time for its realization, it does not produce this time itself; it must anticipate and creatively fulfill it. A central principle here is that creation occurs "against the current of time," necessitating a devotion to an ideal that does not yet exist. Although the resulting artifact is crafted from material that already existed and is subject to the ongoing flow of events, the essence of the work itself remains permanently anchored in the future. The artifact thus functions as an external mediator or signifier of the work, which can only be reached by once again moving against the current of time. The text offers a complex view of creation as an intersection between the material givens of the present and the metaphysical potential of the future, which the creator transforms into an artistic trace.

Budoucnost a tvorba
