This text examines the concept of the "non-local object," originally derived from quantum physics, and analyzes its meaning within a broader ontological framework. The author reflects on what defines reality as non-local, contrasting this term with the classical concept of locality (locus). The study moves away from a technical physical interpretation to seek the term's significance in the context of human experience and the nature of events. A key element of the reflection is temporality: while every event is anchored in a specific time and place, thus exhibiting a local character, its internal structure also includes dimensions that transcend the present moment. The author introduces the concepts of "pastness" and "futureness" to denote the past and future phases of an event that are essential for its integrity. While the current phase of an event draws from the reality of its past, futureness represents a latent direction. The work concludes that to understand the wholeness of reality, one must acknowledge these non-local elements, which form the basis of every ongoing event.
