This scholarly text explores the complex philosophical relationship between the concept of non-objectivity and the category of temporality within a phenomenological framework. The author asserts that non-objectivity should not be viewed merely as a simple, mechanical opposite of objectivity; rather, it represents a distinct category inherently and inseparably linked to the passage of time. While traditional concepts of objectivity in Western thought tend toward an ideal timelessness—exemplified by geometric shapes that exist outside of any real temporal constraints—non-objectivity finds its most authentic and ideal model in the event. An event is characterized as a processual happening with a clearly defined beginning, middle, and end, stages of development that cannot be understood as existing simultaneously or as spatially extended wholes. The document analyzes the fundamental distinction between a static ontology of objects and a dynamic ontology of events. Emphasis is placed on the specific nature of the temporal relationship that constitutes non-objectivity, as well as the necessary shift from classical thought paradigms toward process and historicity. This approach aims to more accurately reflect the nature of reality in its continuous movement and inherent change, moving beyond the limitations of timeless abstractions.

Nepředmětnost a čas
