This text provides a profound analysis of the phenomenon of provisionality as an inherent characteristic of all human actions and endeavors. The author posits that human efforts are naturally temporary, making the pursuit of something entirely absolute or "definitive" a misleading and false objective. However, the text highlights an equally dangerous trap: the tendency to postpone essential, non-provisional matters while focusing exclusively on temporary concerns. This inclination is described as a significant temptation that leads to potential failure. When provisionality becomes an excuse for neglecting deeper values, there is a grave risk that the truly important aspects of life will be irreparably damaged or corrupted from the start. Consequently, the temporary becomes more than just a passing stage; it turns into a formidable obstacle that prevents the realization of meaningful goals. The reflection urges a balanced approach that acknowledges human limitations while maintaining a commitment to what is lasting. It warns that allowing the provisional to dominate can stifle personal growth and destroy the integrity of one's long-term aspirations.

Provizornost jako pokušení
Všechno, co člověk dělá, má charakter jistého druhu provizornosti; úsilí o dosažení něčeho naprosto a zcela neprovizorního, takříkajíc „definitivního“, je falešné. Na druhou stranu je však neméně falešné odsunovat některé důležité (neprovizorní) věci na pozdější dobu a věnovat se jen tomu provizornímu. Pak se v tom totiž skrývá možné selhání, nebezpečí, že se z onoho „provizorního“ stane nejen obtíž a překážka, ale že ono „neprovizorní“ bude nenapravitelně poškozeno, ale dokonce znemožněmo, předem zkorumpováno.
