This text explores the relationship between subjectivity and corporeality, challenging the traditional dualism between consciousness and the body. The author argues that the distinction between the internal and external is far more significant than the conventional split between mind and matter. This tension must be examined in the context of organic embodiment as well as consciousness and rational thought. Objective thinking, which seeks to objectify all phenomena, faces insurmountable difficulties when dealing with subjectivity and corporeality because it strips them of their organicity and concrescence—the inherent fusion of internal and external dimensions. Every organism is viewed as an integrated whole where the inner and outer are inextricably linked. The text highlights that the integrity of body and mind has long been recognized as a normal state, exemplified by the proverb of a sound mind in a sound body. The reflection suggests that understanding the subject requires moving beyond purely objectifying approaches to acknowledge the profound continuity between the physical and mental aspects of human existence within a unified whole.

Subjekt a subjektní (-nost)
